Where do burgers come from?

When you eat a burger, do you ever wonder where all the different ingredients have come from? They might well have started off on the other side of the world, travelling thousands of kilometres by plane, train and lorry to reach your plate.

    Because of the water needed to grow crops to feed the cows, it can take up to 15,000 litres of water to produce 1 kilogram of beef!
